Sorry for the delay guys, between work commitments taking me away from my painting desk for 2 weeks, my compressor dying and being ill it’s been a bit quiet on the painting front.

But not anymore

A little sneak peak of what is on my desk. It’s very nearly finished, just some touching up and graffiti to do.

I’ll post up some proper pictures as soon as I can work out how to photograph something that big!

So I have some more TT Combat bit’s to show you all:

Let’s start with some rooftop scatter

Rooftop Scatter

And have a look at what we can do with it:

This building starts to look like a command and control bunker – really nice addition

Building B w Addon

If you mix Building A with some walkways and the AC unit from the rooftop scatter you get a much more industrial looking building

Building A w Addons

And if you add it all together you get something like this:

All Together

And then we have the Large Wall properly photographed

As always, let me know your thoughts.

Hello again!

Sorry for the delay in getting these posted, but new camera meant a slight learning curve:

Using my new Nikon D3200 with a VR2 18-55mm lens I got some lovely new shots. Using F22 with 1 sec exposure, daylight white balance and ISO 100. If anyone is interested in a guide to photography I will post something up another time

So without further ado – the completed TT Combat buildings!

Building B –

Walkway Set – Twin Walkways

I have some more stuff already photographed that I will upload shortly, and maybe a tutorial for the MAS buildings if you ask nicely!

As always, let me know what you guys think. I’m dead chuffed with both the paint jobs and the photography/composition on these, so I’m happy as a pig in ….

See you soon!

Small update today,

All of the doors for the SWAT commission and 6 from the TT Combat Buildings are now complete – if I never see another door again….

And the walkway set from TT Combat – I just need to go over and do the edge highlighting in white/light grey20150624_072215

Based with VMC Neutral Grey

Highlight with VMC Light Grey and further highlight with VGA White

Shadow with VMC Black Grey and Badger Minitaire Black

Colour transitions using VGC Turquoise very lightly sprayed over the white light grey to black grey blend

Rust with P3 Bloodstone

Chipping with blister foam and P3 Umbral Umber

Pretty happy with the results, let me know what you think

Until next time!

Hey guys another update on my current commission work

The MAS Buildings are for the SWAT commission and were painted using the same technique I used for the MAS walls. Only 2 more to do now and that will be completed. I will get some pictures of the whole board and some better pics of the buildings once it’s all done.

The advertising board is the first part of the TT Combat commission and I’m pretty pleased with the results, again better pictures to follow!

I also wanted to say a big thank you to Tom from Mayacast, I shamelessly used his technique for rust using P3 Bloodstone and I think the results are amazing!

If you want to listen to Tom talk about all things infinity, take a look at It’s a great podcast and is regularly on in the background while I paint

Until next time!

Huge bundle of stuff from TT Combat to get painted.

Some stuff for infinity, others for Batman the miniatures game.

This stuff is truly amazing considering the price point. I’m looking forward to getting more of this done over the following weeks/months as this becomes a more regular thing for me.

It is only available through their ebay store at the moment, but I have a feeling it will be everywhere you can buy miniatures very soon!
